Let's put your knowledge to work!
The next is an accent and tap exercise called Schgo Roe The Remix. This exercise is named after a great friend, instructor and mentor named Dave Roe. Please take everything you have learned so far and put it to work for you.
Here is the sheet music for Schgo Roe The Remix. Only play letter "A" and keep repeating until a member of the Educational Team instructs you to do so.

LEDGEND - notes with triangles pointing down are Down Strokes and notes with triangles pointing up are Up Strokes. All other notes are Free Stoke accents or taps.
Start with just learning letter "A". After you complete 16th Note Grid below add on letter "B". Letter "C" is a tag you only play it the last time through the exercise.
When playing along with the tracks make sure you are standing up and marking time. Very important to also need going over the check list on the right.

Now that you have a strong understanding of playing one hand at a time we are going to join them up and play some 16th notes. Start with the Extreme Hands Makeover Step 6: Free Stroke Singles. Play along as many time as it takes to make you feel comfortable.

Time to get your Grid on!
the 16th note grid is a great exercise to help understand where each 16th note belong. You can use it to put accents, diddles, flams and multiple bounce strokes on any 16th note you want.
Here is the sheet music for 16th Note Grid with accents. All instrument play the same part. Quads play on drum two.

16th Note Partials!
the 16th note partial a.k.a. Bigas Beats. Named after Tom Bigas the instructor who taught it to me back in the day. We are simply removing 16th notes in groups of 4's, 2's and 1's, similarly to 16th Note Grid.
